Sheltered Treasures - The Men's Shelter of Charlotte & Providence Home
The Men's Shelter assists unaccompanied adult men experiencing homelessness in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County area by providing safe emergency shelter and meeting basic needs; addressing barriers related to homelessness and self-sufficiency; helping guests obtain and maintain more appropriate housing. MSC is the only year round emergency shelter for men in the Charlotte area, serving over 2,000 men last year.
Providence Home -The Emergency Teen Shelter - provides short-term and safe shelter to Brunswick County youth who, due to an emergency, high-risk or crisis situation, cannot remain with their families. Since opening our doors on November 19, 1997, we have provided shelter, food and clothing, and attended to the medical, educational, recreational, and spiritual needs of several hundred Brunswick County youth.
